Lovely restaurant. They seem to take pride in providing excellent customer service. From when I called the restaurant, to arrival to when my meal was completed they were very attentive. The inside of the restaurant is tight but they accommodated my family of 5 (including an infant). The food seems to be made fresh. So don’t come here if you’re in a hurry or already starving. The food was slow to arrive. When it did arrive it was presented well and was tasty. That said, I found the price point to be quite pricey! I was NOT expecting nearly $40 a plate for chicken entrees. Maybe that price point for oxtail or whole fish but not stewed chicken. Phew.

Definitely 5 stars across the board!!! From the ambiance to the atmosphere to the impeccable service; everything was amazing. And let’s talk about the Oxtails falling off the bone and the homemade Sorrel 🙌🏾. We will definitely be back. Thanks for making our anniversary one for the books ❤️

My friend and I saw this place on Tik Tok and decided to go bc the food and drinks looked good and we wanted to support a black business. We went on a Friday evening and there was NO other customers. This should have been our first clue. We were there about 4 hours or so and about a total of 4 other customers came in and out. You would think it would be jumping on a Friday. The oxtails were a mush of gravy and fat. NO MEAT! My friend didn't eat hers because it was too salty. The portion sizes were tiny and only like 3 plantains. You can get a better meal in the mall at the Japanese spot in the food court for 1/5th the price and they give you tons of plantains. The drinks were decent, but when asking the server for drinks we wanted, he said they couldn't make them. The fruit in the drink though was rubbery (weird). The server also kept trying to talk us out of what we wanted to order (curry chicken) to get them nasty azz oxtails. smh. Nonetheless, for a small plate and 2 drinks it was $93 and of course we get the owner (waiter) to stand behind us as we enter our tip into the hand-machine. I gave the smallest tip possible, bc this is just a scam. We'll never go back. The place is a joke and trust, we wish it wasn't.
