This place was wonderful overall and I would go back. We walked into the restaurant at 2 pm to be greeted by the kindest hostess. She seated us immediately and was very nice. The server came over within one minute or so and took our drink order and our food order. We were in a rush because of traffic and some plans and she was AWESOME! We ordered the tuna tatami and 3 rolls each. Every roll was very good- our favorite was the “perpetual love” roll.
The only reason I didn’t rate this place 5/5 is because I ordered 2 Philadelphia rolls. Those are fairly basic and don’t include raw fish. I think that they may have made the roll ahead because the nori was stretchy and chewy and unappetizing. It was as though the seaweed had absorbed moisture from sitting for longer which was odd because service was QUICK.
We would absolutely return, I just may not order that roll next time. We were impressed and are happy to tell friends about it. We are our whole meal and were out the door in 25 minutes flat. Service was perfect.

I have been coming to Umami for close to a decade with my husband.
It's open late. It offers everything you could imagine or ask for. Service is insanely quick. Quality is really high.
The steak is amazing. We tend to have multiple orders, rare, and unthinkably it is very fine quality.
It's hard to find this sort of a spot anywhere anymore. The raw fish sets this place apart from all the rest. They are generous, quick and fresh.
Service is personable and crazy fast. As soon as you order, it's at your table.
Rebecca is always our go-to. She is just awesome. She knows her diners, she makes everyone feel at home, understands the menu and dietary limitations inside-out. If you sit in her section, you are sure to come back for more than a wonderful dining experience. She is vivacious, energized, witty and charismatic.
Our driving to Umami even amidst hurricanes is testament to how rarified and great this place is. We pray it never changes 🤍

Update: I came to eat here for the endless lunch and I am very impressed! The food came out super fast and it was all very fresh. My favorite thing was the Lucky Buddha roll without the pickled jalapeño and only the spicy mayo on it. VERY good, thanks again!!
Super delicious raw salmon sashimi, Crunchy Crunchy Roll with no sauce, Sweet Potato Roll add cream cheese, and Alaska Roll. I got all of them without sauce or sesame seeds although there were sesame seeds on some of them, I was able to pick them off but am hoping next time they don't put them on at all. Very delicious spicy mayo, thank you!!

Kade was our waitress and she was ON TOP OF IT the entire time. She was super helpful and knowledgeable about the food and gave good recommendations.
The all you can eat sushi was phenomenal and we will for sure be back. Best quality and best atmosphere.

This place , wow I'm stoked we found our new favorite sushi restaurant 😍 coming here from Hawaii it's been a while since we had good sushi. Very nice staff and clean restaurant. We will definitely be back soon!!! Do the all you can eat the portions are smaller so you don't over order ! I was full for 2 days after eating here haha 😄
